«Saison d'Amour et de Colère», Senegal 1997
Under the guidance of the writers Boubacar Boris Diop from Senegal and Hélène Bezençon from Switzerland twenty young African authors met in Bamako (Mali), five each from Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Senegal.
Within one week they developed and reworked their texts which finally were published at Les Nouvelles Editions Africaines du Senegal . Public readings in all the countries involved completed this literature project supporting contemporary African writers.

«Vultures in the Air», Nigeria 1995
A literature workshop guided by Al Imfeld and Zaynab Alkali in order to support young Nigerian authors. During a one-week-workshop in Maiduguri (Northern Nigeria) the two tutors worked the texts together with the twenty young writers participating.
The best of their texts were published at Spectrum in Nigeria and presented in public readings troughout the country. The book is out in in third edition by now and used as text-book at several Nigerian Universities.
